We had an issue last 24 hrs.
In the end it seems it was a hosting prob again.

This will help put you in the picture of what was going on.

Be assured that whenever this happens we are looking into it.

I got quite a few emails with concerned people.
If possible try to refrain from this as it just complicates things having to reply to everyone who asks the same questions.

What we might do is have another page that you will need to bookmark.
If the site has an issue we will keep you up to date on that page.

Stay tuned
yea I reckon it might be a good idea in having somewhere else to go for updates, perhaps open an account on twitter? so whenever site is down everyone will know to go there for more info.

DjPete

so you got my pm last night Volvi.
I thought you were away again as I didnt get any reply from you
This page can be used.
It is set up ready to go.

If Admins agree it should be promoted somewhere prominent and stuck.

Go for it, great idea. I think the main prob is no-one knows if you know or not. Using the system we had last night, we would have to just assume. If you do this, no-one has to hassle you!

Cheers

Heidi
nothing against your site DJ, but I reckon its gotta be a site name easy to remember, to say our club's backup messages are on twitter shouldnt be hard for anyone to remember and I know one can bookmark your link but not everyone will. If ppl know and see site is down all they need to recall is twitter not even the url coz theres a search engine on theyre front page. just my opinion.

DjPete

someone will need to set that up then
What about a FaceBook Id... named Australian Hayabusa Club? If the site is down people could get updates from there.... plus there are other social networking advantages? Just a thought.

DjPete

sounds good Astro.
Then they can keep chatting.
Lol
Should be somewhere you don't need an account to access.

DjPete

good point
back to idea one then
