Hey everyone,

My 2010 seems to have a heap of freeplay in the throttle, so much so i feel like i need to have 2 grabs at it to get full throttle.

Is this a normal thing on the Gen II or is some sort of adjustment there ?
I had same thing took it in for first service they are suppost to adjust it but didn't. I ended up doing it myself- work shop manual I downloaded says 2-4pm. I also had to clean bike after first service and then sort a mech who loves my bike as I do..... After my adjustment at throttle action was ALOT better.
If you mean free play as in play before the cable seems to take up (if you can understand a word i am saying ;) ) there is a little adjuster about six inches back from the throttle on one of the cables (cant remember which one but you cant miss it)
Let us know how you go!!
Cheers
Just don't overtighten it, you need enough freeplay that the rpm doesn't increase as you turn from lock to lock..
