Shoulda got the old fella out and took a piss on their pump first!
Just take it off, FFS!
I always take my helmut off but I think the same rule should apply to everyone. How can wearing a helmut be any different to wearing a burca, are there signs up for them to remove it first, I doubt it. Its no use abusing the servo people they are doing what is asked of them.

I brought some crumpets, honey and doilies for this lovely little tea party we're having, and I'm wearing my favourite hat!

We can not tolerate to be treated like thieves just for the sake of keeping peace.

Is this sh#t still going on?
I used to get really steamed about being told to get off the bike to fill up and remove the helmet before doing anything else, but like the banning of public smoking we're all just used to it now aren't we?

I had an attendant come out at the Mobil in Blaxland, NSW, ready for a fist fight when I was sat on the bike filling up, and 2 coppers at the Shell in Liverpool were yelling at me so loudly for not removing my helmet that I thought they were going to pull out their guns. Both incidences just convinced me to pursue the easier life. I am peeved that paying at the pump seems to have disappeared though, as that was my solution - to only use servos with that facility.

My local says I can leave my helmet on because they know me, but then their fuel is about 8c a litre more on average which means I'm paying about $1.90 to not remove my helmet. Using the time given on here to remove and replace a helmet, if I was paid that in my job, it would be something like $855 an hour.

Totally worth it!
