I got one and i wouldnt be able to see the gauges if i didnt. I got mine from the dealer when i bought the bike.
Being 6ft 1 I have been thinking about one for a while,I notice the Isle Of Man guys use them so they must work well, now to look around the net. Pi_thumbsup
I ordered a cheap one from China to see what it is like. If it works I will buy a decent one. The one I ordered is a tinted one, again to see if I like it.
I bought two from Hong Kong at $30 each and they are complete shit. Didn't even bother with fitting it in. The reason is that the cheap ones do not have the proper recess around the cowling so even if you manage to squize it in they seat below the top surface which for me is a not acceptible. So be careful and ask the questions before commiting. BTW if anyone wants them just came and pick them up for free (or pay for postage).

They're not bad, just make sure they have that recessed edge around where they sit under the fairing or it won't be flush with the outer part of fairing....

Since I've replaced the stock with the DB I've noticed no more wind hitting my chest and so I don't have to hang on as aggressively at high speed.

I've got one of the $30 Ebay direct from Hong Kong specials and it's fine (for $30 why whinge?)...just put a small dab of silastic on the locating tang (slots in above the headlight) so it doesn't rattle......Gen 1 I'm taking about, dunno about Gen 2 (they're ugly so who cares).....

.........

wait for the bites........

I've got a cheap ebay one on mine. Didn't fit to start with so I used a heat gun on it around the lower edges till it went soft. Slid it into place and got it to fit perfectly.

As Alway's , You get what you pay for . Put a topline powerbronze screen next to a $30 ebay screen & see if you can tell the difference. Unfortunately cheap crap looks & performs like cheap crap .
Powerbronze don't have the lip at the bottom to match the STD item. It's the only thing I don't like about mine, but being a solid black screen on a black bike you can't really tell/dosent stand out.
It is difficult to stay away from the crap considering that no good ones are available at a sane price. Tried today to order a windshield from HPS in UK. The screen is 30 mm highier than OEM, has the proper recess at the front edge, comes in dark smoke. In a word that is what I was after. The price - 67 pounds (about $110.00) perfect. Wait untill you get to checkout and see the price of shipping - 130 pounds - $205.00 Scary !! And that is the cheapest option! We can send 20 kg to UK for $95.00 but getting 5 kg back here cost twice as much. Or does it? It seems we getting ripped off blind.

No mate, nobody in UK. If anyone interested in getting one as well and doing a combined shipping please let me know. For that sort of shipping price maybe we could get 3 or even 4.
Just ordered a zero gravity light smoke form the US for $107. Hope it's an ok one.
