Announcing the handover of ownership of the Australian Hayabusa Club to a long time dedicated member Rod Norris aka ROD. His appointment takes effect immediately. He will be in charge and take any and all decisions relating to the club and its website. Our arrangement is that he takes over and provided there is no major discord and is coping with the site and its members, the domains will be registered in his name within 6 months. All current held funds will be transferred to an account of his choosing. He will need to introduce some raising of further funds to maintain the site for the future as hosting and domains expire end 2012 early 2013. I trust that you all will support him well into the future.
After 12 years at the helm I am pleased to be able to hand over the reigns to another, I will still be here but will no longer have anything to do with the management of the club. ROD will henceforth make all the decisions and to the sticky-beaks amongst you the answer is no I am not accepting any monies from the new owner nor has any been offered or demanded, not even $1. My only interest is the club continue well into the future and in good hands.
I am standing down all current admins and moderators and am handing him a clean slate in order to put together his own management team. All applications for said positions are to be put to ROD. No doubt we all wish him much success well into the future.

Volvi, I'd like to thank you firstly, for making the club what it is today. Top effort! All the best for your new ventures. This site is what it is because of its dedicated members of course, but you had the idea to set the wheels in motion, and without you this club may never have existed.

After knowing you for a while now, I'm sure that your fair nature and down to earth good mateship will bring this club forward in time alot further.
I don't know alot of members by nature, but you are in my eyes the hands down best person for the job.
All the very best with the running of this club into the future.
