No use keeping an eye on it Ryan you need to get ya shit together so you can come

I'm one of the one week wonders on this trip.
Driller and Shredder are still putting the details together for this one so it will be well organized.
I'm sure it will excite plenty of interest once the full plan is rolled out .

Ok support vehicle option gone

17 weeks till take off so if your coming dont leave anything till the last minute re bike services etc start working on your shit/ gear etc (a Jerry fuel can will be required this time round )

NSW guys Leaving Port Maq ( if any other Nsw guys are coming you need to adjust yourself to either meet up in Port or somewhere on the road to travel with them up into QLd ) are heading off fri 26th april they are heading north by themselves to meet up with us out whoop whoop on the sat night .

Brissy Guys if at all possible i think it would be good if we can leave friday the 26th april as well Even if its at lunch to mid arvo just to knock a few Ks off rather than having to do a Big day on the sat first up as we will then have to back it up the following day.

If you have any intrest please contact Driller or I

shane

So at this satge it looks like 5.5 days for brissy guys & 6 for nsw guys to Darwin
2 days back to the rock
1 day at the rock
then 4 days home from the rock & we could throw in 2 days in for good measure if we need it
which brings the total to 13 to 15 days total

The rock to home is only 3300 via south then east which could be done in 3 if you pushed but 4 would be better. or go north then east the ks are very close

You Part Trip guys need to get together & work out what you want to do & see how far you wish to come before heading home .

So The rides on the table Guys , cant see anything else on the horizon being planned or anyone else planning something. SO you either get on board or sit back do nothing & ride the same old roads/rides which you have done to death thus far
a brief break down of day's /Ks / stops after the Tambo meet up.

Shane, that only covers day 4 to day 6
Whereabouts are you going after The Rock... in SA? ...then where in NSW?
From Ayres Rock to Port Augusta then heading to Broken Hill back home.

Why dont you get a group together Pan & meet us at the Rock

Actually thought the SA guys may Run out to see us
we will be there fri 3rd & sat 4th may

saw this post from Mungaman
"Watch out for a grey Toyata park on road between cloncurry and isa they patrol that section very heavy, there's a bike shop is isa too , be on the safe side , once you cross the border speed limit $130. Found ST Angel handles roads up here abit better. Would carry fuel between camooweal , Barkley homestead and 3 ways roadhouse if your going above the Kms. Watch out for roos and live stock roads are unfence out this way. It's a good ride from Katherine to kununurra. Enjoy the trip. "

Just went through these areas. Busa and NT are made for each other.cross winds make fast riding hairy.didn't meet a single cop car.2600 kms from Barkley roadhouse 7am yesterday. Am in broom WA 6 pm today.Kimberly and NT side is 200+ kmph corners. Its fun.made for the busa.

I'll ask around mate. Couldn't get more than a handful of Busas to ride the 50km to the National Park today and it was perfect sunny weather, so not too optimistic about getting anyone to Uluru!
