My 02 blue black is no more after an accident. Bike is a write off. :-(
So far the 08 is going great, extremely happy.
Just waiting for my white boots to complete the Ronald McDonald look. But they WILL see me!

nice ,good stuff pete ,your old bike lives on in mine !

DjPete

Thanks Peter. It's nice to know where it all went. :-)
looking good pete didnt realise you got another, enjoy. and how does gen2 compare to your previous gen1?

DjPete

Had no choice Volvi after an L Driver failed to give way to me at a stop sign. Old bike write off. Me some bruises and broken finger.
Good news is their insurance paid well enough for me to get a gen 2.
re the gen 2...
brakes, power, smoothness, lighting, gear changes, engine sounds so together and tight, better riding position, feels easier to throw around and steer. love it

Keep a very close eye on that stator cover dude.
I bought one when my bike went down, and it's made of very soft metal indeed.
Check for leaks, fissures and gaps, listen for noises - the stator may be loose inside. Metal is too soft to tighten stator to cover, a smidgen too much torque and the bolts rip the cover threads right out.
