To all of our club members in the Greater Sydney area:

Could you please take a moment to vote in this poll please....

In the never-ending hope of having a H-U-G-E turn out of club members for the next meet-up night.....we would like to know where the BULK of our Sydney area members reside!! Undecided

It is envisaged that the next meet-up will be based in the direct area that has the highest number of members that take the time to vote!! Yes

If you live in an area that is not covered by any of the poll answers, please vote for the area that is NEAREST to you (for instance...if you live in the Gosford/Central Coast area, vote for the northern suburbs. If you live in the Wollongong/Illawarra area...vote for southern suburbs.)

Please ONLY vote if you have a genuine desire to meet up with, socialise, and ride with your fellow AHC members!! If your idea of being a member of this club extends no further than to being "just a keyboard jockey", with no real interest in ever meeting any of your fellow members in person, well, that is entirely your own choice.....a sad, pathetic choice IMHO...but yours all the same anyway - and good luck with that!!! Idiot2

So come on and vote for your area now.....it would be a frikkin' AWESOME sight to see 40-50 busa freaks at the next coffee night or club run!! Yes

btw, this poll will run for the next 30 days, and the results will be visible to all...

thanks for taking a moment or two to participate in this...

Hi Wayne. We do ride, just like you, but we sometimes invite others on the forum as well.

Last one we posted was a couple months back:
http://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/...?tid=19851

We do ride, we do bling, we do track days, we do drag races... but just don't bother posting much because people often complain it was the wrong day, the wrong area, the wrong temperature, the wrong colour undies, bla bla bla...

Dale and I went for a long ride with a couple of mates today... Stanwell Tops, Berry, Kangaroo Valley, Robertson, Albion Park, Sydney...

Oh, and Wayne, this was last week. Most people from here came from a lot further away than you would have. If you can't make it, you can't make it, but don't go putting shit on others because they actually post on the forum...

Just a bunch of fun-loving keyboard jockeys, heh?

And it was a fantastic day out too, great bunch of fellers Pi_thumbsup
Who would have thought that Beemer and Ducati riders could be such great company Lol3
Count me in for the next one Pan .. Biker
Bumpage!!
I ride almost everyday of the year. That goes for rainy days too (although I try to avoid it)and in the middle of winter. I also dont wear wet weather gear. As for keyboard jockeys, I do enjoy interacting with likeminded people on forums as I do enjoy interacting in real life. I have five motorcycles currently and I keep them all running so I have to rotate. Life is hard lol. Wayne you need to get another bike mate and stop stressing out. You say keyboard jockeys like its a bad thing. I personally have learnt alot from others on forums and made many friends.
Bazman , how about considering hosting this ride/meet up at EC and do a track day . Would be a heap of fun. I haven't done a track day in over two years this would be a good excuse to do another one.

Pan i need some riding leasons it's been a while i'll need some tips of ya Pi_thumbsup

Wayne , fark off !!! you only got a gixxer , it's not a real bike anyway, my keyboard is faster Pi_tongueBiker

Pan i do remember that ride if it was a genuine busa ride i think i should have been posted a couple of weeks before so people could have organised themselves to make the effort and turn up. You posted that ride 4 days before you decided to have a ride to be quit far i dont think that is was long enough for people to organise themselves as for myself i ride most weekend with other people and clubs that im in and when they make a date for a ride people turn up even if it rains

i have posted rides on here and like you said it was the wrong day, the wrong area, if weather permitting bla bla bla

As for your coffee night/ burger nights if you held these on a friday night you would get a much bigger response

Stevieb like you i do ride most days rain hail or shine cold or hot its pretty impressive having 5 bikes and keeping them all running must cost you a fortune im not saying everyones a keyboard jockey but there is dam lot of them they right so much shit and sound like they can ride like stoner or rossi and when you end up riding with them they ride like shit im just going to leave the keyboard issue right here i do not care what else is said about this issue.

03sydrd as for you mate you dont even have a bike as for the two things you do have they are not worth anythihng i hope your kids own them because i would be ashamed to say i own them lol

You're just envious because my bike has more bling than yours CJ Roll

Seriously! Wayne and I are mates from way back; dating back to when we met on track days at Oran Park about 8 years ago, didn't we Wayne? He and 03Syd are mates. We're all just mates having a banter... don't take this too seriously.

Baz is trying to get some info so we communicate better, that's all... and we ARE communicating! No need to go quitting memberships or taking things personal.

After all, what are we, Victorians!? Boobies4

(lights the fuse and walks away)
yes thats right pan we are mate from way back & 03 sydrd he just a strange one just like me thats why we are good mates

Carefull dude , i resemble those remarks Lol2

Its all good Cjay as Pan said its all said in good faith. In fact Wayne & his lovely wife Karen and i had dinner tonite and were having a good chuckle about the comments that were made. No one really gives a shit about who is faster , rides more , or whatever. The important thing is we are here because we have one thing in common , the interest in the Hayabusa motorbike. Pi_thumbsup

Pi_thumbsup +1

....and the whole idea of this thread is to try to bring some club pride, unity, and solidarity to ALL of our members in the greater Sydney area!!! Yes

Wayne, Pan and Nige have all made some very great comments & suggestions so far....and we should really be seriously discussing each and every one of these in detail....because they have A LOT OF MERIT!!

Just one "official" AHC track day a year ain't too much to aim for, is it?!? same goes for maybe 2 or 3 "official" AHC club road rides.....the ones where everyone absolutely bends over backwards to make it to, and the only valid excuse for non-attendance is expiration of ones own life!?!

My personal dream is to (one day?!?) get as many Sydney area AHC members to Bald hill Lookout as possible!!!! I have this fantasy image in my head of the WHOLE carpark chock a block FULL of BUSA's!!!! Is it just a dream?!? will it EVER happen?!? I certainly hope so.....and if and when it ever DOES happen, I'll be a happy boy, for sure!!! Yes

To any and all other members that have even just an ounce of passion in getting some UNITY, SOLIDARITY and PRIDE back into the local Sydney chapter of this fine club.....please start posting up your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc right here asap!!! The combined frustration we all feel in regards to this urgent matter needs to stop >>> and soon!!! Pi_thumbsup
