They actually scare the 'roos in front of you and they are more likely to panic and run anywhere, I'd stay the hell away from them mate. We had them on our Landcruiser in Exmouth a few years ago and ended up taking them off as the 'roos just got badly spooked as we drove towards them.

My 2cents worth!

Max

If I see a roo max I am on the picks. Saw one about 7:30 am 2 weeks ago as it jumped across my path on a trip up to mt tamborine, it was a good 60 meters away so not a problem but it's a crap shoot as to how close they are. Years back I was riding up the Albany HWY to perth doing 120 odd and a couple hopped up just ahead of me out of a deep gully. I jammed on the brakes and by the time I was down to 40kms they were hopping up all around me, in front and behind! There must have been 20 or 30 odd and I just barely missed a couple. Really spooked me, had to stop for a smoke lol.

If it spooks them as you say then that could be good or bad perhaps? At least I might have a better chance of seeing the idiots as they bounce around. I will do a search now though, after what you said. I have never heard anything but good reports or neutal reports on them and have used them myself for years now.
