he tells me he overtakes cars etc ,then it just turns off ,then he rolls to a stop ,hits the start button ad she fires right up

GRUNTMAX

... maybe his ignition is rooted. Not safe.
Could be kinked fuel line but more probably a blocked strainer in the fuel return valve Nerd

ive got the bike for a week so il start with fuel n go from there ,also it has the smallest rear sprocket ive seen on a boosa,i test rode it today ,its geared so wrong 7grand in 2nd and it just doesnt seem to be pulling ,just slowy winding out ,he said he went to mve off from a stop sign the other day and it stalled ad he dropped it to the right ,

40 tooth standard rear
Most obvious things 1st. Make sure that return fuel line under the tank isn't kinked. Very easy to do when lowering the tank. if not that probably fuel filter. (I'm sure you already know all this Pi_freak )
This may help trouble shoot the fuel System Pi_thumbsup

Wardy i gave it a couple of revs and bounced it up to 7k ,it back fires bad ,il get it apart wednesday i think ,the idea im going with is to remove the inner tank fscreed ,then pull the pump down chuck that filter then on the tank side of the pump fit an efi filter ,like a commodore one, then cut the fuel line springs up so no to kink the hoses

Carbon ,cheers for the links ,but im the fix it king on boosa fuel problems ,best way to fix a boosa fuel problem ,chuck out everything youve heard or read and design your own just like i do ,then in future for repairs it costs $50 tops ,no stoopid $7/800 bucks,
Has that thing been remapped/dyno, for the Brock system?
the owner knows nothing about the bike ,he however did tell me he removed the power commander as the stalling was worse

if it hasnt been mapped would it make it run like a shot cat ,i mean it starts idles and runs but around 7k has a bit of a splutter ,and carries on and compared to me 99 it feels slow and sluggish as well
Replace the fuel lines. Don't cut te springs, where's the logic in that. I have a 99, went through similar problems, read the bulletins, replaced hoses, problem solved!
im deleting the fuel filter and replacing hoses ,trust me i really know what im doing, been through months of fixing fuel issues with boosa,s

his bike runs a 39tooth rear mine runs a 45 tooth

no springs to be found anywere just kinked hose etc

looks like you got it.
I also ripped the guts out of my fuel pump, cut all the screens and filters out. Now I run a $5 inline filter that I get from the garage. My intention was to replace this every service, did for the 1st few . . . but then I forgot. Embarassed It's hasn't been looked at for 5 years now. Frown Hasn't missed a beat in all that time. - Thanks for reminding me, better drop down to the local service station and get one tomorrow Undecided
i gutted the external pump fitted 2x new busa oem hoses ,check my fb page wardy for the footage of me reving it out
