I'm heading off on Friday afternoon to Phillip island and planning to come back on Monday. I have room in my Navara for any stuff (swags, booze, etc) anyone wants taken down there. I have a roof top tent and the Busa on the trailer. Going to set myself up on Friday, then ride back to Cranbourne for a few beers in the pub, and then the big ride back down to the island again. Got the bike to go into town and leave my tent set up. Got a little BBQ , big Waeco full of beer, table and some extra chairs. You're welcome to come pay a visit if you're passing thru the campsite and need a beer! My navara is dark blue dual cab with a rooftop tent and a small gazebo (in case it rains, or is stinking hot - who knows?) don't know where I will end up in the campsite tho. Rego is AC427. My number is 0400 161514, email captrva@bigpond.com. Maybe catch up with ya, if it clicks! Rob

Hey!
Yep, just depends on ships contract finishing up!
Hope ya well, mate!
I think you will find that vehicles are searched mate for alcohol... Taken and given back after the event... Best I know is if you have lockable toolboxes, lock grog up, say its ya bosses or work vehicle that you have borrowed for the event and that you don't have keys for the toolboxes. They can't deny you vehicle access... Some years they are right onto it, other years they don't even look. They chop and change security...

Thanks for the heads up. Let me think about it? Been smuggling grog for years, so can't be that hard! Got a 110 litre water bladder for camping, fits on the floor behind the seats. That's about 50 casks/goons - could be a profitable weekend?
Rob, I'll meet up with you along the way on Friday. I'll be in my ute...... busa is staying home so I can stay out of trouble.
I'll give you a call during the week.
