hi everyone first time ive added to the board
just reading lastest rapid mag . jeff from rapid said that the new zx-14 would eat a busa. what do you think.. has anyone heard about the 07 busa yet?????:
Got my 1397 in and getting it sorted out ( I am learning how
to ride the Bitch again ) and arfter my last run down the strip
and getting a 149.5mph at the end I was very happy
It dont take to much to get a Busa to fly...
So I wont be to worried about getting blown off by one Regards Richard
When the Clutch Drops the Bull Shit Stops
hi richard my busa just out of warranty have cans& filter dyno at 168 hp rear wheel not huge but thinking of pwr comander have been told will gain anywhere from 10 - 30 hp at wheel all depends who you talk too.
You could very easily get a 10hp increase thoughout
the map . 10hp top end at a stretch
no way no how you'd get 30 hp gain from the P.C.
shane
hmm optimistic figures on the PC i got 3 HP out of mine someone must be using very happy dyno's me thinks Cheers Bill

so is the pc realy worth it ???does it help with the delay/ lack of power down low rpm range.. have read about tre any ideas??
depends on what you are chasing if it is a huge HP gain no you wont be happy with the PC like I said I got 3 hp out of mine but in saying that the throttle responce was really smooth and crisp the overall performance was really nice and controlable
If you want big HP gains get yourself a Turbo heaps of power at your fingertips constantly if you want a little HP gain that runs out get yourself NOS Best bang for $$$ is the Turbo option anywhere from 250HP -300HP from $5,000-$10,000 depending on how much you can do yourself Cheers Bill

Mines still faster...... same copy of rapid
hahahaha
not after mass power just want it make it more responsive ..if money was no problem then GO TURBO it would be. but like every on else no money tree has died in back yard.. bill what area do you ride..
Dump weight!!!! free flow inlet, outlet Blah Blah... maybe a quick hand ( brain)
I spend 12 years dreaming about a fast one... Then I had a chance of fast money...... got the bike... lost my mates... would choose my mates.... their wives would as well...Their legacy is a fast Busa.......................................
The Kawasaki is still a Kawasaki
Its Ugly as all SH.........T and it has no low down get up and go
It doesnt handle as well as a Busa
And it will never be a Busa so who cares!!!!
Lets put big plastic vents on the side of our busa's and let me see, how about six lights across the front!! WHAT THE????

So some plagiarising journo reckons the kwaker 14 will eat a busa
Oh......no......... woe is me/us, the shame the shame, think I'll take a long hike off a short pier
I hear tell they are limited to 299
I hear you need a power commander to fix it
When the 14 hits that brick wall
Where's when you need him ......
Its taken 7 years for the busa to be beaten , probly take another 7 years once the new busa arives ?????????????????
Mr Spanner Spinner I ride around SE QLD but dont ride a Busa no more go through the members Photos and look for my old bike lots of cosmetic changes but not a lot of engine mods apart from airbox mod, airfilter,TRE,pair valve removed
and a 4-1 exhaust and the last dyno session it had was 164 RWHP the power commander will cost you roughly around $800 fully mapped and installed for not a lot of power gains but yes you will; get a really smooth throttle responce with one and borrowing one of someone else wont work on your bike to its potential as all bikes are different Cheers Bill

Bullshit
A power commander will NOT give you any more power than a properly mapped and sorted ECU.
The ONLY thing a powercommander will give you is a lower bank balance. If you have minor mods go to a good dyno guy and have it remapped.
If you have major mods then go the power commander or better.
