Leave it at my place. Marrickville's a lovely suburb.

...if you like.

DAN85

BUSGO

G'day Dan,
We sell them where I work at the Locksmiths.

I will check out the price etc at work tomorrow and post it up.

In fact we sell all types of bike security products except noise alarms.

Items such as floor anchors, large bike chains, high security cable locks and disk locks etc. As well as the best padlocks money can buy if anyone is interested.

We do not have a web page and normally deal direct with Joe Public.

I will list all our bike security gear on here tomorrow with prices. I will not be able to give postage costs up front but will see if I can work out a deal with the boss for club discounts.

You may be able to source them from other suppliers via the internet for a cheaper price than we sell if I list the brands and model numbers etc.
Our shop is only 100 metres from the post office so should be a quick consignment if needed.

Unfortunately I don't have access to a digital camera at work to photograph the items but here is a list and prices of the gear.
I will list them from top to bottom in the order of the best security options.

1. ABUS GRANIT CHAIN/LOCK with FLOOR/WALL ANCHOR = $485.
(The floor anchor alone is $134).
2. KONIG KOBRA Shielded chain with ABUS 83/55concealed shank padlock = $160.
(This could also be used with the ABUS Floor anchor)
3. CITADEL 180CM 15mm dia. Hardened shielded cable with ABUS 83/55 Padlock $110.
(This could also be used with the ABUS Floor anchor)
4. MASTERLOCK Python 180cm 10mm dia. cable with inbuilt lock $37.
(This could also be used with the ABUS Floor anchor)
5. BUFFO Brakelock (Disklock) in yellow or red $55.

The prices quoted do not include postage.

The shop number is 02 4987 4018

I realise this is not in the Vendors thread but I am simply responding to a request for info.

BUSGO

OK Dan,
This is what you mean.

I'm afraid we don't sell these due to the high cost.
But if you like them you could import one or get one made.
We could supply a shipping container lock for a shed of this type if you need.

holy crap comp insurance would be cheaper damn

BUSGO

If you already have the bike garaged, I suggest option 1 or 2 in my list above for reasonable added security.

The floor anchor is really solid and good value for money but it is only as good as the chain and lock you fit with it.
Here is a link where you can check out the ABUS WBA100 anchor that we sell and others that we could get in if required.
www.lockitt.com/lockdown.htm

There is still nothing stopping someone with access to your garage from stripping the bike onsite though.

The number 1 option on my list looks expensive but we have discounted the package by $80.
The other options have been discounted by between $20 and $50.
A good insurance company may give a discount on annual fees if you can show proof of security. You would need to check with them.

Dan,
Buy a big fuggin dog and train it to kill.
