I found this site on the web. These would allow colour experimentation without loss of resale.

These come in carbon, chrome or black that you could paint. They are plastic mouldings or carbon fibre. Glenn the Spa Man

rocket rod 7777

How tacky is that?
The Phantom is back !

I thought about doing that myself but unsure of the finish, would have preferred, Carbon or Black!

Rocket that bike of yours has frame covers, that was only thing that put me off from buying a Z, otherwise they are good jiggers, at least the new one has a real alloy frame.

mmmm nothing makes a bike look sexier than genuine imitation chrome. Icant understand why someone would use these, mabey to see how it looks before you spend some major cash blinging up your ride, but I wouldn't be caught out in public with them on

still there are plenty of strange people out there, some are even convinced red bikes are sexy. Pan you should see if these come in RED Edited by: Maggot1300 at: 6/10/06 8:23 pm

I had a look at these a while back. They're actually plastic and I worry that they'll scratch quite easily...
"sometimes crime does pay"

Maggot1300

I think i'll be quiet now... Edited by: Maggot1300 at: 6/10/06 10:02 pm

Just got a reply. They are available in chrome, black and RED!!! They also said they are plastic so they're suitable for bent bikes like this...

Dee

He he he he to Pan.

My mum always said what goes around comes around.

Maggot1300

I got no comeback

pan

Sorry Mags

De, what goes around comes around...
Yep, that means it's my turn to cop it next!

Ka ching.Good one pan.The toughest thing about the forum is people from all walks of life and age groups like the busa. What one likes, the other absolutely hates and we all are convinced we are correct in our individual choices.Everyone voicing what they think is excellent and a dying trait in australia. The tough thing is everyone needs to have a skin thickness test as some are very sensitive and some are quite cutting with their views and the last thing you want to do is tread on eggshells on a bike forum.

Djpete

If they look fine whats the prob?
Spend thousands or 100's?
I know which one I would go for.
But it depends on finish and if it does look tacky or not.
You see I think Fluros look good so I'm a bit warped!

Shortcut Pete...
Cheers,
Pete
