I wonder how many no. plates are actually real out there??
This is what it is coming to with Nazi laws that are not based on common sense and rules that are unachievable...
A VicRoads vehicle inspector was approving cars for registration that he had imported for sale. Police have charged his business partner with illegally importing vehicles.
- Thousands of drivers are avoiding fines by using false number plates on their cars, with 10,611 traffic camera fines last year recorded to unlicensed vehicles and a further 6109 to vehicles with fraudulent number plates.
Registration details filed at VicRoads often do not match the vehicle on the road. In one case a vehicle registered as a van was found to be a commercial cement mixer.
