Hey has any one taken the cheese cake round Oran Park and if so what did you think?

Also does any one know who holds the lap record on a bike there and what it is??

Hi.

I spent a couple of days (one wet and one dry) at Oran Park with the Stay Upright courses. We used the shorter (southern) course, hence only had 2/3 of the straight before a left hander...

It was good stuff and on a dry day I got the Busa to 210 on the short straight...

On the wet day the patch of rubber from the drag races (left half of the straight) made the surface very slippery when wet, so we were told to keep to the right...

I've heard it's closing down soon too. Is that correct?

Not on a bike, but on race go-carts years ago man that was fun, but only on the bottom section of the track
