Note: These are elapsed time trigger cameras; they estimate your

driving speed between checkpoints, so slowing down before each

The Eastern Freeway - 5 cameras - operational





The Monash Freeway - a further 5 cameras in addition to the one that

has

been operational since 28/12/01(located approximately 600 metres from

the entrance to the Burnley Tunnel)







The Calder Freeway - from Keilor Park Drive to Kyneton has been

earmarked for 9 cameras, estimated operational date to be advised.







The Hume Highway to Albury has 11 cameras (operational since June

2002)

Geezas Victoria must have more black spots than any other place in the world.

Looks like a big reduction in the police force is on the cards if they use a fixed camera to replace 1 uniform.

Geez... A list of "safe" places where no camera exist might have been a shorter list.

They are talking about fixed cameras in QLS, so we'll be next

Do you know the locations of the eleven you say are on the Hume to Albury? Only know of the one near the Wallan overpass. Has any body actually proved that hairspray on plates does work?

Hairspray or cooking oil doesn't work

A pommie magazine in conjunction with the local did a test using both & come up with nothing. The gatso camera still was able to ID plates.
