I have just enrolled for level one at the superbike school at eastern creek in June. Has anyone done this? How was it? was it worthwhile?

Yeh mate its good, but seems a bit boring at first but be keen and remeber what they say as its very important. You should do all levels.. Cheers,

I recommend any courses.
As I have said before after having beeen riding for 25 years I was amazed at what I was doing wrong when I did the Stay Upright course last year.
These courses are a real eye opener.

I did the StayUpright advanced course on my Gixxer couple years ago - well worth it but would've like to be on a proper track. Different emphasis to superbike school as I imagine the latter is performance orientated. I'm keen for SP school type day next.

you spend about $1600 or so doing all 4 courses.If you put 2 riders together of the same ability on the same bike.The first 1 spent the money on the courses and left his bike stock.The 2nd spent the money on his bike.If these 2 riders then met up for a track day or even a road ride,the rider who had done the courses would absolutely dissapear off into the distance either on the road but moresoo on the track.He will then keep this knowledge forever,where 2nd aftermarket bits aren,t worth much.Best money you will ever spend on motorcycling. How does roaring round a track out of your comfort zone make you a better road rider when all it does is teach you to go fast around corners

You're right Kawa......... BUT........now Ducati want to change the rules......... AGAIN

They're going OK (with Bayliss) but now you prolly know they want a 1200 cc limit for their bikes

It's like coming to a race & saying "look.... our bike is an antiquated v twin shit box & we want a concession to stay competitive"

Screw that, they should get a 4 cylinder bike like everyone else, they make one don't they

we all know that if it was an even playing field,the dukes could never win and seeing that the superbikes is run by an italian organisation,they gotta look after there own.
Look at the rules currently ,the only reason the dukes are still there is because the jap bikes are still nobbled,they run smaller sized inlet tracts(restricted) than the road bikes they are based on.If ducati wants to run a 1200,fine,then let the japs run a 1200/4.
