last month I have been down to the coffee night at cleopatra's 3 times and only to find NOT ONE Hayabussa rider there.(except one occassion)
Norm has been there each time ( CBR 1000RR) and me (VTR 1000F).
what has happened , dont tell me that bussa riders have become , summer time wonders or pretty boy riders , only coming out in fair whether ?

I was out in the snow yesterday and will be on to work again at 4.00am in -3C temperatures and frost. 100km ride. Brrr! Come back in 13C though, - tropical.

Bad/cold weather ? been there, done it
I rode a Triumph 500 Speed Twin to RMIT for 4 years from 1966. Couldn't afford LEATHER gloves or jacket had to wear woollen gloves & denim jacket
Cold ? Used to pull up in pain & shock from it & spent 10 minutes warming hands on hot cylinders
Now my masochistic days are over
At least my right leg was always warm from the oil it pissed at me

Would love to be able to get to cleos every Wednesday, but I can't see the point in riding into the city when it is snowing up here........
I'll be there on a Wednesday when it isn't .

It's a victorian thing mate, buy extremely fast powerful motorcycle, sit it in garage so it dont get wet, then sling mud at all those who do ride. Although with the speed cameras down there it would be dangerous to go out on the pushie.
