Heard whilst out riding today from a fellow busa rider that a mate of his went down this morning on his busa somewhere Yea and Mansfield area. He died there, not sure of all the details. He was an airline pilot and riding with fellow pilots. I believe he was around 50 yrs of age.

Breharna

email me Volvi, I must have been posting whilst you were so we've doubled up here.

Just got off the phone to Rev.

It was Al (The lurker).

It happened on a ride that was inbetween the Am and the Pm Sunbury maccas run...

He didn't get on the board very often, but would lurk to see what was going on. A few members would have either met him on a ride or met him at Cleo's. He was there last Wednesday. He was also in Elizebeth St Melb having a latte with his mate Rev Saturday....

He re-sprayed his bike a few years back to gold/black. (One off)

My thoughts and Prayers go out to his family. He was a great guy and a great family man.

R.I.P. Al

A really nice bloke...
I had just taken pics of Rev and Al at Cleos on 17 August.

Rev, you must be shattered, I know you two were very close.

I was so shocked to hear about Al.I dont know the circumstances, but to me he always seemed to be a rider that rode well within his limits.Even though i had only met with him 6 or so times at cleos,he always came across as a good guy and a real gentleman. It always cuts to the bone whenever a friend and riding companions life is cut short in this way.
Al RIP mate.

My condolences to you also Rev as i know he was a good mate of yours. Phuck its the phantom!Edited by: rocket rod 7777  at: 29/8/05 1:12 pm
