As for the Hailwood --- yes a real pain in the arse if you have ever owned one of these or a similar SS / SD / GTS etc --- painful electrics and fragile engineering.

Last time we did this discussion I said the new Triumph Sprint ST 1050. But I am now thinking if it isn't a Hayabusa, it would have to be an MV Agusta F4 for the day rides and a Yammie FJR 1300 for the trips.
Might as well throw a dirt bike in the shed while I'm at it.
Will take a lot to prise the busa out from under me though.

I've had a 2000 Blackbird and a 2000 ZX12R all of which were sold to buy the 2004 Busa.
So, if I didn't have my Busa I'd probably go back the the Blackbird or just drive my cars and be bored all day.
Then again it's killing me doing without the Busa for a few days till it comes back from mods and dyno tuning.(again)
