Hi all
And especially those in Melbourne. My partner and I are travelling through as mentioned earlier. The Ventura pack rack has broken and we need either two replacment arms (loaner, beg, borrow or steal) or where maybe we can purchase. Or somebody who could help with repairing the pair that I have. Only discovered the break this morning and we were planning to be on our way tomorrow (have to be back at work next week).
Any help would be appreciated and would be repayed to any that may travel through our way in the future.
If you can be of assistance please call me on 0417470050
Will be hitting the phone and calling the bike shopes first thing tomorrow but dont really hold much hope hey.

Shit! tough break Tom ( 'scuse the pun )
You are welcome to borrow my L brackets or rack but they are in Brissy and getting them to you in time to continue your trip considering your time frame may cause unacceptable delays.
I can't believe the you could not get some brackets or rack from a dealer in Melbourne. I walked off the street and bought a pair in Brissy. I am willing to bet that you could source some in Melbourne.
Ventura.......expensive and not all that good!
I hope you are back on the road soon and enjoy the rest of your trip.
Regards
CB

Hi CB and et-all
looks like we may be fixed up by tomorrow morning courtesy of "the bike barn" in Melbourne. good guys and quite helpfull as far as they could go. Tried Action M'Cs first and more or less got told to f off so would not be recommending them. Had experience of Action in Sydney before and reckon they could be better called 'no-action'
Think maybe a nasty-gram might be sent to Action and Suziki bout the lack of assistance may be in order even if only to vent my spleen
Had a call from Richard and also know where there is a pair to be borrowed if it comes to it.

Thanks all
Tom n Jacki
