Went to the Superbike school in Broadford yesterday with Ressac.

What an awesome day. Can't believe how much I learnt and the track experience was awesome. After every lesson (5 in total - each focussing on another skill) we just kept getting smoother and faster.

The two Busa's were dominating the track. On several occasions we'd pass somone on either side when heading down the straight, then back in the briefing room someone would be talking about the two bloody busa's that scared the shit outta them
Even the instructers on their Trumpi TT 600's were being left behind down the straights.

Well taught lessons and very well structured. Huge confidence booster.

And one for the tyres, the relatively new Pirelli Diablo Corsa's were amazing. Managed to get some burring right to the edge on the rear.

Gotta agree with Peter on the Superbike School, in the immortal words of Cartman of South Park fame, "..it was totally KICK ASS!"

The busas really were the cat's arse out there. They cornered as good as anything else (except one really short wheel based crappy Buell) Doing fly-bys after corner exits down straights was totally sick. And to top it off, the busas just looked completely sex! I think I'm only just now coming off the endorphine rush.

(The Bridgey 020 came out ok, tread is warped and melted a bit, probably has 2000 km before canvas. The outer layer is now a hard compound after being melted and cooled down a few times.)

I found this at Bike point web site. A lot of stuff written by Steve Brouggy (instructor on Superbike School).

Peter, did you get in touch with the bloke who took video of the track sessions? I wouldn't mind a copy of the vid if it was reasonable footage.

Travis.

Sounds like you boys had fun, well done.

I gave the bloke my address, so the cd should be in the mail.

I'll forward one to you when I get it. Hopefully there's some decent footage there of us.

My e-mail is travis.betts@defence.gov.au. Drop us a line on confirmation of good footage. I didn't see the guys pit crew turn the camera our way too much. I dare say all he picked up was a couple of grey streaks every now and then.
