Glen,
I have been trying to locate models too,but with no luck.
Have tried the major manufacturers such as Protar.Minichamps.Ixo,Guilloy and Maisto.
Maisto make the 1:18 that you can sometimes find in Toyworld or some hobby shops- I have located three of these and they are all blue and silver models.
There are some people in Melb. called Zimblers who are model distributors that may be able to advise of a contact or an outlet.
Also if you look up Maisto on the net it will bring up U.S.A. manuf. that will give an Aus agent in South melb.- I cant find this name at the moment but will look it up again.
If you have any luck let me know Good luck.

I presume the Maisto version is the one which Glen is referring to (and there are still a few bike shops around stocking them. They did come in blue/silver, red/black, and copper/bronze).
