Hi all

My name is Steve. I recently joined the elite club of Hayabusa owners and this discussion board with a purchase of a new Busa late 2001.

I was hoping to establish a connection with other local Busa riders for the occasional organised ride, chat and a beer. I was thinking if there is enough support we could get together one night, day, afternoon for an initial meet. From this we could discuss the possibility of an informal localised forum for occasional rides and meets from at local region point of view.

I was going to suggest a place and time but I thought it might be better to find out if there are any interested riders first. If you are keen please respond with a note stating suitable times mid evenings mid week, Sunday afternoon, etc. From this we will be able to pick a suitable time and place for all.

Looking forward to meeting and riding with you all.

G'day,

I usually end up at Newcastle Suzuki each Saturday morning around 11.45am for a sausage sanger and a general chat. Come on down on Saturday.

Always on the lookout for a ride so I am sure that we can get together with other Bus drivers and riders of other bikes.

One of the locals will be walking for a while however. Recently caught at over 200 near Walcha and now faces a minimum of $2000, one year suspension and other punitive outcomes. Understand that a maximum is $2000, 3 years suspension and 9 months in the Big House.

Bugger.

Poh.

I have one question for your local
WHY DID HE STOP!!!!!

Poh

Does beg the question doesn't it but there is a funny story here.

Seems the local had a female pillion passenger (not his wife) and had to stop because she was vomitting down his back on new leathers. I would have thought that at that speed the verbal projectiles would have been going backwards and not forwards.

He did not know that Plod was on his tail and still swears that he never did see Plod in the bushes or remember passing a Magna.

When he stoped Plod pulled up behind some 2 minutes later in an unmarked Magna having been unable to keep up.

Seems like Murphy's Law all round.

Have to keep your eyes open for an unmarked Magna while on the Oxley though.

Cheers.

Hi Poh

Sorry I didn't get back sooner been away on business. I get a bit tied up with kids and my sport on Saturday mornings but I'll drop in Newcastle Suzuki when I can and have a chat.

Interesting story about our unfortunate friend. I sometimes wonder when i'm giving the Busa a bit what would I do if I a cop got on my tail. The devil in me some times thinks what the hell, if I open her up I'd be out of site in a few seconds but the good samaritan side would probably win out and pull me up to get my medicine.

If your planning a ride some time let me know by email or mobile phone 0407 098503 my name is Steve
