Sorry - thought people could read it without being logged on. I'll see if I can do it another way, or summarise it, or something.

Richard do we start a petion to Suzuki Australia about this subframe matter and see if we can get something happening here in regards to a recall on the subframes .
I am not sure if we could add a attachment that we could download and fill out and send back and then once we had them all we could send of to Suzuki Australia and see what they come back with as we have quite a few Busa owners now in the club.
regards

I am happy to help out with such an undertaking, but I have got a few things going at the moment, and I don't want to take on another responsibility just now.

Richard or Busa
I also think that a group action should be mounted and pressure applied to attempt to make Suzuki do a recall on subframes.
The U.S.A. .ORG. Says that a recall was carried out in Europe, and the Poms have a thing called the Sale of Goods Act which is being used to make Suzuki replace frames.
This Orginasation also has hinted that an update is immenent on Busas with a multitude of changes so I think that Aus. owners of 99-00 models should do something as soon as possible. My bike is a 99 but has only travelled 1600 ks.
There is also a Black Limited Edition model on the way.
Contact me if any body can instigate this action as general opinion is that if frame hasen!t cracked it will.

There are the class action specialists in Melbourne, but they are not cheap & there are still costs involved even in a negative outcome.

The Yanks are going for Suzuki's jugular right now over the same issue.

Bob, post us here leeting us know how your cracked alloy subframe went with Mick Hone and Suzuki. We found it on the Vic April 20 ride day after someone noticed the rear end of his bike wobbling like a fish tail.

Good Luck, Peter and Marco.

hi guys

let me just say that from my two personal experiences with suzuki (aust), i am extremely disappointed with their attitude and treatment of deeply loyal customers (ie like myself),,

suzuki management should step back a little and take a long look at themselves, there is absolutely no justification for their seriously arshole-like behaviour when dealing with their customers, the little people like you and me...............

disgruntled les

ps

at the same time i must praise mick hone for going out of their way to do the right thing in my case,,

Morally bankrupt is a term that readily comes to mind !
But hey, what have corporations in general ever known about morality ?

Suzuki loyalty ? what loyalty ? I've always been loyal to whoever can sell me a fast bike. If Honda can sell me that 200 HP V5 I'll be loyal to them for a while & having owned a few Honda's in the past I know it won't fall apart.

Had to laugh watching the African Moto Gp when the commentator described the Honda as a "4 cylinder V5".

I don't think you'll see Rossi make a mistake like that again.
