So what about the ride yesterday? Us poor souls that couldn't go want to hear all about it.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !! Sorry you couldn't be there Scott. Even tho I was leading these guys on roads I had not travelled on in 8 years, and some never at all, it turned out surprisingly well. Weather was fine. Almost no traffic on the roads when we hit the windy sections, so we had some FUN. Ended up taking a short detour further north due to finding some unmade roads, but it was worth it.

It was a bit of a shame Bob and Mike or Steve (hopeless remembering names) had to leave after lunch cause we hit some seriously straight roads where hyperdrive speeds were met. After lunch there was some excellent coastal riding and back thru some up and down hilly sections. Was home by 4:30pm. That is a must again ride!!!!

Thanks Peter for finding those roads. And yes, those awesome straights... Even the Fairy Blades were hitting over 260.

So glad to hear it. No incidents I gather, that's good too.
