If you want your Hayabusa's wheel rims polished (or full wheel polish) give "Michael's Magic Polishing" a call on (m) 0402 839 402 (Sydney area).

If you'd like to see Michael's work he is at the Mt White Cafe most weekends on his black/grey Hayabusa with polished rims (identified by a small card promoting his business tucked down the front screen). He has also done work for Central Coast Motorcycles (including a brand-new MV Agusta).

He does great quality work!!

I have seen the end results of his work and can say that I recommend him to anyone.I have never seen a person so committed to the end result.

Max

Anyone got any ideas of what he charges and the time he needs the wheels for please?

It depends what you want Max. He does have some pamphlets explaining the polishing process, the time frames and the prices inside the Mt White cafe.

The current price to have the RIMS polished on two wheels is $300. If the polishing is to be done on the bike or you provide the wheels (already off the bike), he can normally do them on the same day - at your own home if preferred. Tyre removal is NOT required, but if you want them removed more time is required to complete the job (probably 2 days).

The current price to have a FULL WHEEL polish on two wheels is $750, with 7 working days required. Wheels are removed from the bike for this process. Tyres are also removed and replaced at a Motorcycle Workshop.

The motorcycle engine is at no time operated.

For more info contact Michael on 0402 839 402 or pick up a pamphlet.

Micheal has received an enquiry from a Hayabusa owner in Canberra who would like rims polished. Michael is considering a journey to Canberra, so if any other Canberra residents are interested -give him a call!

Where in Melbourne can you get the pair polished for $100?
At that price I'm interested.

Michael does the job without removing wheels or tyres from your bike.If you are able to make your way to Central Coast Motorcycles, they will gladly show you what he is capable of.He has polished rims on 2 ZRX1200's,a ZZR600,a GSXF750 and an MV Agusta F4 for the dealership to date and they have expressed an interest to continue with him in the future.

try jones metal polishing in ferntree gully.he did a great job polishing my busas rims for $100 with a turnaround of 4 hrs must take tyers and disks off

MamookStar

Well I don't know what method is used to polish two wheels for under $100.

I do know that Michael's method keeps the wheels on the bike with no damage, and uses only soft solutions to lubricate the surface and carry away deposits, with a mirror - like finish the result. Michael performs the polishing by hand.

ANYONE HAD THERE RIMS ELECTROMOLDED AS HAVE SEEN THE ONES ON "RONS BALLS" HAYABUSA THE COST IS MORE BUT APPARENTLY WELL WORTH THE PRICE AS YOU ONLY NEED MR SHEEN TO CLEAN THEM.
