Well?
Balls' undertail looks fuckn sweet, $320 for the kit. Heh, what a character : ))

Uhm, so yeah, are these things legal? I was under the impression that the mudguard had to be there?

Who uses cruisecontrol? Any preferences to the makes, or had anything thats crap or busted?

Well, the addition of a hugger helps...

Not too sure about the legality of it all - I was told that the legal requirement is that the mud guard must come down to the level of the rear axle! Antiquated requirement meaning that most bikes are technically not road worthy!

I tried a throttle lock on someone else's bike - unfortunately I don't remember the brand - and my complaint was that to release th lock, you physically had to flick it up - there was no way for it to automatically release when you grabbed the throttle, let alone the brake. ALso, it was quite tight, meaning that releasing was not just flicking it up, but you had to almost grab the little button and pull it out!

I have a throttle lock fitted. It's by no way a cruise control and is only really useful to give your throttle hand a break whilst touring. I commute an hour each way on the freeway each day, so I WOULDN'T BE WITHOUT IT. I don't remember what the brand was but it cost around $20 an took about 5 mins to fit. The bike shop had 2 types, one was universal and the other specified bike brand, ie suzuki. I got the brand specific one which was also the cheapest and easiest to fit.

Yes you have to physically flick it up to off, but I have it fairly loose so I can decelarate against it easily if needs be.
The only downside is that very little change in incline will cause the bike to accelarate/decelarate a bit.
In reality I would only use it for 15secs every half hour or so.
One more thing - it's a bit ugly - but won't leave any evidence if removed.

I once rode a Harley(the shame) with "full cruise", it also had stereo etc. etc.etc. - fun till it ran out of throttle doing less than the 'busa will do in first - (and that was in the NT Richard where I was allowed to go over a 100!! )
