The Wild Wind
19-03-2007, 12:19pm
Okay, so it rained, but we still had fun.
A special THANKS to Richard and all who helped organise, sponsored, assisted, etc…
:ccup
:aclap  :aclap  :aclap
We made it from Sydney without getting wet… watched the rain fall all day Saturday, then rode home and didn’t get wet either! The amazing thing is we didn’t see ONE SINGLE :acop  vehicle for 3 days!
I got to meet some awesome people, including David the Hayabusa stunt man :a) , the dude who makes those really cool Busa seats (just kidding Corbin! :awink ), and the dude who really makes those really cool Busa seats (hi Glen66 :athu ), the dude who runs Easyrider Imports :aread , Volvi (:)) !!!!), Trix (Mrs Tony Burgess) my buddy and fellow Eels supporter, a whole bunch of people that don’t post (Ian and Barb from Sydney, John from the Central Coast :athu ), a whole bunch of Queenslanders (:aclap  :aclap  :aclap ), a whole bunch of Mexicans :awink , and the usual boring NSW people… :chug
Here are some pics I got…
Leaving Sydney:
Busas with wings:
Rod’s bike:
:mhdr
Demeester and Gassick trying to get closer to those lighting bolts:
:ac1Â Â :ac1
Lots of Busas lining up:
The trip home via Canberra:
Some quick performance mods so the slower bikes could keep up with us:
(Kitmark at work :cboobs )
And here are a couple of vids:
m8ee’s grin… (I missed the mega burn out 10 seconds before this)

…and though there were many that didn’t come to Jindy, we did our best to include you all “in spirit†(we talked rubbish about you behind your back)… :alroll
