G'day Guys,
As many of you know only too well, dealing with multiple overseas companies is a pain in the arse. It certainly is for me and quite often leaves me out of pocket when they change their corporate minds about us Aussies and decide to up the prices after the deal is struck. So, instead of getting the shits up, I decided to go the other way and put the lot up, make or break. What I have done is aquire Spyder Racing's Australian franchise. I am sure many of you are familiar with their work and Chris and I have talked it over and struck more than one contract. The idea is to bring US buying strength to Australia. Every bike, every product they have available. (with the exception of helmets because of ADR). The new site is being built, spyderracing.com.au and will be up soon. TC's site will become a purely Busa endeavour. I'm excited (even if scared shitless, I'm not a gambler) and lets see what happens. Mucho work to do to get it up and running properly but be sure to visit.
Good luck Glenno,
you're certainly putting in the hard yards young fella. Which reminds me, I need more bling. What have ya got? (:-))

Geez Maxxie. There is a lot of stuff. I read the catalogues for four days straight. There is going to be a couple of big boys out for my balls, come and get em if you think you can, I say. Thats how good the prices are. What really got me started was waiting up to ten weeks for normal parts off Australia's biggest distributors. How hard is it to get a busa screen or a gixxer undertail? Depending on the month, impossible. No fear factor, see? If I don't get your screen as requested then what are you going to do? Complain on the forum, not buy from me and go somewhere else. Do you see what I'm getting at? Cutting them from the loop.
Lots of goodies on the US site, the our price and members look the goods too, I might be tempted to lift my pathetically low bling count but alas be always riding in the shadows of the insatiable canberra king of bling...

I think you are fabulous Glen. GOOD LUCK BIG FELLA!! I'm tempted to go against my fear of bling and buy something just to support you.
Thanks Heidi. It is the folks here, like you, that convinced me (took about a fifth of a second) to maintain the Busa site despite having conflicting product lines. There is more to bikes than bling though. There is a lot of gear coming in. safety stuff, warm jackets for winter and all that sort of thing. My favourite bit is that when the riders move away from the Bus, like they do every now and then, I don't have to let them go too far. I am just waiting to see what Little Johnny is going to do now in regards to Arsecrackastan. I don't really feel like it, but I'll do what I have too. Zoey will take over for a little while if the worst happens. They have been umming and ahhing for months about it. Can't stand around waiting for those types to make their minds up, there is bikes to make pretty.

You stay safe.

Good to see you putting in the work for Aussie buyers Glen i hope spyder racing Australia will be a bit more safe than the US site last year they put through 3 x $2,200 = $6,600 us on my credit card took months to sort out but did at least we no where you are and if it hapens on your Aussie site you will be running to Arsecrackastan on a serious note if you end up going stay safe and come back i might need something.
Pi_thumbsup Good Onya :ausflag:
All the best Glen for your new enterprise Very Happy shame there is no serious performance goodies in their cattledog
Gary
Thanks guys. I am banking on the Army forgetting about me and I am keeping pretty quiet. lol. I reckon it will work for at least 6 months. Once it turns into a proper shitfight, they will remember. Or on Monday morning, they do that too. Bullets are only cool when they are going away. I'm definately slower than I used to be. On the upside, the enemy are not that flash either. Enough about that, I'll keep OP Bling-my-Camel/Goat to myself for a bit yet.

It was part of the agreement to maintain and even develop the performance accounts as I see fit, we are an MPE and Schnitz dealer. Have been for ages. Don't worry Gary, I have them. Turbos, NO2 and heavy engine bits. They are likely to stay with Hayabusa.com.au and the other models over at Spyder.

I don't know why you weren't just refunded, Rod. It isn't like the transactions are hard to find. I will still be doing things the way I always have, so you will be lucky to get charged at all. lol.
Good Luck with the Venture Glen, lots of Bling there thats for sure.

Just checking, are you an MPE Dealer or MPS?
MPE. I don't use it very often. I have an APE account too. Too be honest, I probably like them the best, Shayne. Mostly used for US bikes. Over time, I will reduce the number of suppliers and will probably stick with APE (like you did) on performance parts because they answer their emails and they know their stuff.
