Im sure this has been asked before but
Is it possible to put a 340 kmh speedo on a later model busa?
0ne reliable source says no,but i say with money anything
can be done.

Anyone know of any that have been done?
Mines an 07.
Confused
Yep, have seen it done to a couple of 01 models, not cheap though. Another option is to replace face plates and use a speedo corrector.

NEMESIS

How much roughly an who can you recommend to do it?
If you can find an instrument cluster good luck, last one I heard of was at Metropoitan motorcycle wreckers and I think they wanted something like $500. No experience with aftermarket face plates but others have done it and will hopefully chime in. The ones that Pan has are not easy to read at night.

Get it right you man WhoreLol2..it's 149.5mph so far2fast4u
It was a piece of piss to fit an early instrument pod to my 2006. Got it from Garry (Hawkwind), fitted it a couple of weeks ago. Haven't fitted a healer yet. Rode beside Busdriver yesterday. His stock speedo was showing the same speeds my 2000 pod was showing.
We actually took the nose cone off (simple enough to do) to fit it. Don't know if the speeds will be consistant at the high end. Nice to have a 340 speedo though. Looks sweet.

They came from me i got them made in the UK it is best if you cut some lite white cardboard to put under them and take your stock ones off as the light shines through with original numbers
i dont no if max was doing any other work to his bike but you dont need to take nose cone of to get gauges out just take the two suronds from arond the gauges off and there is two 10mm bolts at bottom of gauges then gently pull on top of gauges to pull away from housing they will feel hard but they will come out then put your hand in behind gauges to unclip wire harness hope this helps.
