Heys guys I'm over here in Rome on holidays for a couple of weeks. The streets are full of crappy scooters lol - I haven't seen any busas as yet, although I did see a zx-14 today so I might be getting close to seeing one Drool

I basically came to here to catch up with a good mate, so I didn't really plan an itinerary, but if anyone has any tips or reccommendations on what to do, see and/or eat while in Rome I'm all ears.

Regards,
Paul. :aussieHayabusa

Drink a fuckload of wine Beer
Careful walking across the road. People don't sometimes observe traffic lights in the day time and never at night!

Just walk from one end to the other. You'll come across plenty to see!
Ciao :aussie Ra'gazzo,

If you haven't traveled north yet, you should if you have enough time.
Just get on a train and go, Pi_thumbsup I did a similar trip in 99, but started in Milano.
You could do a stop at Sienna, Florence, Bologna and then Venice.
When I was in Milano, I Qued for 3 hrs to see a Fresco of The Last Supper, painted by Leonardo Da'vinci. There is plenty to see and do, it just cost a fortune to do it.

Italy Smitten

Biker T
That ZX-14 will blend right in with those scooters.

Hey Tenacious,

Have a great time. Last time we were in Roma, we found the best pasta - wait for it - at a Railway station (Roma station actually), unreal! And we ate lots of it!

Anyway, have a blast

Errr.... spelling and sex. Geeze Dj, I'd have thought you'd get the sex bit right at least!

Bella = female.
Bello = male

Its "Ciao Bello", not Bella.

Hint : When you get to Rome, just keep saying "Non Capish" its slang for "Wha ??"

Oh... and get ready to watch some really interesting driving habits.
Thanks for the info guys.

Probably won't be able to make it up to Milan unforunately - although I'd really love to seeing as that's where all the concerts and general cool stuff is happening at the moment.

The weather's tops here - Italy's experiencing record temperatures at the moment, so I really feel for the guys back in Canberra freezing their nuts off. The only problem is the cold will be twice as hard to bear when I get back Pi_freak

Oh yeah, the other thing that might interest people on this board is that beer is only 32 cents. That's like 60 cents Australian!!! So excuse me while I indulge in a few Beer

Ciao,
Paul.
