Just finished my 600 arm stretched 6" and resessed so it will run at standard height and braced.

Looks good Dude, how many inches is the wheelbase at now and what was the cost?

AntsBuza

Thanks M8.
Wheel base is 5" longer than a stock busa.
Swingarm was $50 of ebay.
Extensions I already had.
Powder coating $30
The rest was my time.
Thats' excllent value dude, i'll find a spare 100 bucks if you by chance knocked up a spare?

Busanthony

why put a 600 swingarm on?

Two reasons for entirely different uses.

Twisties - slightly shorter than the busa arm

Drags - plenty of bolt or weld in extensions available. But the biggest advantage is that its under not overbraced. So it can be lowered further than the busa without battery clearance issues.

Reason #2 Yes
looks good mate how long did that take you?

WHAT YEAR/MODEL SUZ DID THE ARM COME FROM?SURE LOOKS GOOD.
Looks nice! I thought it was the tyre that caused the problem though?
Being stretched it wouldn't hit anyway would it?
So assume same swing arm bolts/bearings/and widths etc or did you have to add spacers?

Nice job!

AntsBuza

96-99 gsxr 600 arm.
No spacers bolts straight in.
Nearly.
Have to space out the r/h rear set and grind out the swinger for rear shock clearance if you want to
run at standard height.
But lowered is not a problem.
