Anyone travelling through the Sunny Coast area or going to the Australia Zoo, My sister owns the "Beerwah Motel" which is just down the road from the Australia Zoo.
I can't offer free accom, but I can certainly put in a good word for you.
Here's the web address. Check it out.

If you just rock up to the place, tell Cheryl that I (Bryan) recomended you stay there.
She'll look after you.

Thanks Louwai,

I'm heading up that way next week with the fam. Maybe stop and have a beer, as accomodation already booked. What are the meals like?

Do you need anything delivered up that way Bryan?

Cheers!
Zak

I'm from Beerwah, my parents owned the bike shop there... That hotel does look good, definatley worth staying at if anyone is driving through, beerwah and the Glasshouse Mtns area is very nice..

Thanks for the offer Zak.. But all is good. It's actually the other way around I need. I haven't been in Melb long & most of my tools etc are still in my garage in Brisbane. Gotta get them all down here.

The motel is fairly small & all meals are 'home cooked' by my sister.
Unfortunately meals are provided for guests only.

Cheers, B

Just got back and saw your post...The x-trail was full of holiday crap. Strange how it seems that you have more going home than when you left????

Did not get a chance to get to the pub as we were travelling with my bro and his family (who we busting my nuts!) Never holidaying with anyone else ever again!

Hope you get your tools down soon. Not sure what sort of tools you have, but my fam is in the building trade, if that is any help?

cheers
Zak
I'm afraid I must withdraw this offer.
My sister has sold the motel.

Sorry guys.
