Just thinking about our newly found, not so distant relatives, the B-King riders. Should we maybe encourage them here to the forum and offer them a home, being that they are almost naked Busa riders anyway?

Just a thought
Simo
I would say so yes. They should be welcomed here. Besides there wont be that many of them to warrant a whole new board and machines are close enough for owners to iteract with one another.

Only a question of letting them know were here for them.

Great suggestion Simo, maybe an email to all Suzi dealers letting them know to pass on this info and our forum site to any new B-King riders, any volunteers?
You could always register the Australian B-King Club and redirect them to this site, give it a bit of a remodel for them to fit in and all done.
Moved to General section, to get noticed.
I think that would simply encourage HOOLIGANISM.....Nutkickyt1

Busa riders, of course are simple law abiding folk.Biker

The bar at the convention will end up looking like the one out of Star Wars one day...Nerd

Oh, what the hell, I suppose we can let em in.Grouphug

God knows ---- we already let the copper riders hang out.

Its a great idea but I have this feeling that there wont be many of them out there, my old man got a xjr1300 and I dont see many muscle street fighters out there, and Who are Copper riders? or should I say what are copper riders??
Also in regard to bikes to B-king and other muscle bikes man they are so uncomfortable in high speed, its like riding against nature, I rode my dads XJR once and everytime I gave it to it I felt like I was gonna fall off from wind blowing all over my face body everything. B-king sure is great bike but honestly spending 1k more than busa and buying a B-king would be a mistake. You cant really do tracks, you cant play around with your mates in highways I wouldnt buy a heavy bike like that, its only good to go straight line to work and come back and yes I know they can be nice for long trips and so on but big No for me.
Fantastic idea Simo.

Volvi - if we get a template going for the dealers here are some email addresses to include for Brisbane:

sales@springwoodsuzuki.com.au
sales@brisbanemotorcycles.com.au
great idea - more people to the forum/club & with hope - some people to actually ride with

Simo

Maybe we could go directly to Suzuki Australia in the first instance, see if we can get a bit of a burst put on their website under the "Latest News" section. Not only for the B-Kings, but the forum in general.
Good idea,let them in !

Having owned a naked busa, done some very high speed runs, done a couple of 940k days, used it to commute, clown about on, and done several group rides with sportsbikes i would disagree. Pete too, has done much more than I with his Naked-Turbo-Busa, and so have several others.

Other than maybe cropping the ultimate top speed, (that my licence can't stand and many riders never see ) the Naked bike is much more fun. I own both naked and faired. The Faired bike is being sold on Wednesday and I have a B-King test ride booked with cash waiting.

There is a growing following of performance Streetfighters building Naked Turbo / NOS / Bigbore bikes because you cant buy a naked bike with balls. Suzuki aren't building the B-King without good reason.

Shame its so bloody ugly though.

The Busa fairing is a brilliant design, but it will suit some riders to be able to buy the great GSX1300 without it though.

Just my 10c.

Tony.

Should B-Kings be on this Forum ?

I hope so.
Just about the same bike, any probs and solutions would be the same , there is already much diversity among owners i don't think that would change at all for a slightly different style of bike.
I also think the lines between the models may blur a little as people customise to suit themselves, after all you could put a B king tail on a 08 or a 07, or a 07 fairing on a b king .... There family...

Can't wait to see you at the drags Loafie SFun_kickingroin
Shit yeah let them in as long as they put Busa fairings on em (Just Joking)
Well then again we all talk to Pan sometimes I guess Lol2
The B-King looks like it was designed this Millenium not last especially the frame. Apart from the donk theres not much that interchanges, still part of the family though. May be the new Busa should have followed the B-King in design!
