A few of us in my office ride & we wander out occasionally.
All welcome to join us.
On the 27th April we are going to head out.
Haven't really decided where yet. Possibly to Black Spur / Lake Mountain Rd area. Another suggestion was to Wonthaggi & along that part of the coast road.
Anyone interested in joining us.
We have a range of bikes & riders.
A newbie on a 250, a couple of 1970's restored Ducati's, the odd Harley and 3 or 4 sport bikes.

We'll meet at our office (Tally Ho business park, Burwood East) at around 9am on the day.

Will post more details if anyone is interested.
yep - sounds like fun to me :)

Tally ho?? your just up the friggen road from me! I am on springvale RD & wellington :)

Where's DJpete? and the rest of us here in Melbourne?

DjPete

yes, I am allowed out I mean yes I can make it.
I would prob meet you somewhere along the way if thats ok.
Cool, the more the merrier. Biker
I'll get definate times, route etc & post soon.
well the general feeling around the office is to stay away from the spurs.

One suggestion was the route we did last time, which was good (attached).

Another idea was the previous ride which I didn't go on. Yarra Glenn - Healsville - King Lake etc.

Will most likely be one of these. Will post it ASAP.
just looked at that route - not bad - tho I was going to suggest instead of going down the melba, do a dog leg turn & head over Kinglake mountain & back in via St Andrew's?

But as Jay just said - that road is tight & twisty & pretty much no room for error so it would depend on the skill of the riders as well...

that said I think it would be a good way to come back... :) either way I am happy :) enough twistys in there for me.
I am going to try and join in for some of the ride people, just so you don't call me soft. Action-smiley-083
My bike is booked in for it's first service on the 28th, I had to wait a few weeks to bloody get in.
I have had to knock back a ride with the Svdownunder crew last Sunday, because I am a few hundred over already.
I have also been invited to a family do at my sisters, so if the weathers cactus I know where I'll be going.Boobies4
You wouldn't believe it.
I took my bike to PTR today & they reckon that they might not get it finished by Thursday arvo.
Which means that they'll have to finish it Saturday, BUT they may not be working Saturday.
Which means the I may not get it back until Monday Scary
Nah - ask them if you can pick it up Saturday - they normally are cool with that.
Looking at the forecast, we might be rained off anyway...

Unless the rain doesn't put you guys off.

Would definately be less traffic on the roads. Probably less coppers too.

DjPete

what about Fri instead?
Anyone interested...no rain then

DjPete

Spoke to big boss and I'm fine for Friday but I need to be back by 12.
Half day Pete again.
Mark...you seemed ok with fri.
Post you're ride and see if we get any one else.
