Maybe because all the good roads are over the other side of town.

How often do you all get down th GOR ?
I'm in Geelong so the "east of Melb" rides make for (whilst heaps of fun) a really big day for me

That's Rocketman.

I even spotted a Honda rider in the bottom pic with his hands in his pockets...

That was a few years back....

Your hair even looked reasonable Were you trying to look like some other licenced rider back then???

I hear what your saying Jamie. I live in Baringo/New Gisborne so the story is the same for me. But hey, it's worth the ride for some of the roads over that way. But I am sure that we could showcase some of the open roads up in our neck of the woods.

Ok I tried this before, without a great deal of success (although did turn up. )
I'll put my hand up to organise this one if nobody has any objections. Might have to use your incredible blanket mail skills for this one Demeester.

How about a ride up to Echuca? My mate is the head chef of a resturant up there and they would make us feel very welcome. I am sure. Some great roads on the way, nice open sweepers and long straights (good for Busa blasting).

So who's in? And When? Cheers,
Holge

Is it ridiculous to do a ride the week before Christmas? I was thinking of Sun 17 Dec???

We've got the best roads in Vic out west?

Who could get bored with a trip to Whittlesea, Healsville, Warburton, Reefton Spur, Marysville. Then back along the Black Spur to Healsville and back the way you came. Or go from Marysville up to Yea, Flowerdale, Strath Creek, Broadford, Pylong, Lancefield and back home.

Holy Shit guys if it gets any better than that I'd like to know???

I do that trip once a fortnight. Even more when I'm on leave. (like now )

Trouble is I don't plan in advance. I just play it by ear and ride. Rev is the only rider I know that can be ready at the drop of a hat.. He's another believer in "Talk's Cheap"!

Post me your Email address Jamie. If I get more than 30 minutes planning time I'll drop you a line.
