Hi guys & girls can anyone tell me if a K&N hiflow filter is standard equipment on the busa probley a dumb question I know but about to put my busa on the market and want to have my facts right fo the add

cheers Beer
No mate, A K&N filter is an aftermarket addition.

Cheers for that
Do they actually make a difference ? I have had friend that had there bikes on the dyno , and the original air filters/boxes actually generate more Hp at the rear wheel than the replacement box. ( not a busa )

after all the manufacturers do spend a lot of money getting everything just right. whats your thoughts/Proof on this?

P.s i have one on my bike - previous owner when with this option so i don't have a Comparison

Should of read that one before i posted itGhastly
A cleanable air filter is a good investment if you plan on keeping the bike long term.
The cost of a K&N may be 2 or 3 times more than a stock replacement but then you can clean it every 10,000 ks or so and go on using it for the life of the bike.
It is a good investment.
I've never measured any power difference from fitting one.
personally I prefer the BMC Red (racer) not that Ive tried the K&N. but they certainly allow better breathing then stock.
