Anniversary Ride Update #2
Well we are only 3 weeks out from the ride down south
and I hope everyone is ready or getting ready.In total we have 34 people joining us for the ride which means we have a combination of bikes. We have 21 Busas, a B King, a couple of Gixxer Thous, a 1098, ZX9 and a BMW joining us on the ride.
Ride Information
Meet Point – Rockingham Foreshore at the end of Patterson Rd / Railway TCE in the car park near Sunsets Cafe & Bistro
Time – 0730 – this will allow for us to have photos done before hand.
Leave – 0830
Can the Local guys try and get there between 0700 – 0730 as we can get your photos out of the way before everyone else turns up. We are planning to take photos of individuals and their bikes and then a big photo of all the Busas lined up in year which will take some preparation hence the reason why we would like everyone there by 0730.
Photo Shoot
As mentioned, a Photo opportunity will be happening on the Saturday morning so it would be appreciated if everyone could be at Rockingham on time.
Currently we have the following year Busas coming down for the phot shoot.

If anyone knows of someone that might be interested in a Photo Shoot and knows someone with a Busa that has a 2002 but not coming see if they would be keen to bring their bike down for the Photo Shoot.
We may have 02 but this will be confirmed closer to the date.
I will be sending out an update in the next couple of weeks so just to bring you up to speed with a couple of items but otherwise everything is pretty much set.

We are now just over one week out from the ride so hope all you guys and gals are preparing yourself for what we hope is a very good weekend.
We have had another couple of guys join us for the ride Dave on a 1200 BMW and Bill on a FJR1300 so the numbers continue to grow again.

Hi Guys and Gals,
With only a matter of days to go the trip is coming upon us very quick and to tell you the truth I can’t wait
. I had a quick look at the weather ahead and it looks pretty good but that is in the hands of the gods so we will have to wait and see. I have just sent out an update on email with the following attachments

My heart skipped several beats the other day. Changed oil and filter as final prep for the trip. Came out in the morning to a few drops of oil on the ground. Nipped the sump plug up just a tad, then rode to work. Lunchtime; there was a huge oil slick under the bike
Long story short; the helicoil I have in the sump unscrewed just enough for the crush washer not to seal properly (thought the helicoil was cactus thus ending the weekend for me). I dumped the oil, reseated the helicoil and hey presto, I'm still going on the weekend .... Yippie!!!
