Would prefer not to stay in Tamworth and I've seen in another thread that one of the members owns a pub at Bendemeer? 10th - Tamworth, Gunnedah, Coonabarabran, Gilgandra, Dubbo, Parkes, Forbes, Young. Stay somewhere around here for the night. 11th - Young, Gundagai, to Mt Kosciuszko vai Khancoban, back out to Cooryong, Albury, up to Mt Beauty to stay for the night. Alternatively would like to go from Colac Colac south to Omeo then over to Mt Beauty. Can anyone tell me how long that might take? I've not been through that way before. Oh, and if you could let me know timing at legal speed limits and not busa warp speed that would be great :) 12th - Mt Beauty to Bright, Myrtleford, Wangaratta and down into Melb. 13th & 14th & 15th - A trip down to PI is the go (Jenny wants to see some penguins!!) - if anyone could take us on a ride that would be great. Think there will be 2 and possibly 4 of us lovely ladies as we're catching up with the girls we met whilst travelling Europe). Of course lunch would be on us ![]() ![]() 16th Melb, Morwell, Orbost, Bombala (via Cann River), Eden for the night 17th Eden up coast to Syd - arrive not long after lunch 18th Day in Sydney, but leave late afternoon and stop at The Entrance for the night 19th A day out in the Hunter!!! Yea Ha!!! ![]() 20th Somewhere around Maitland to Byron 21st Byron to Brisbane (cannot get distracted here as Jenny flies out that afternoon!) Would love to catch up with you all, even if it's just for a quick cuppa or an escort for a short stretch even!!! LOL - or you could come for a long stretch if you like! Any ideas on where to stay, what to see appreciated from your experiences. The brochures and info on everything is overwhelming and often grossly built up to be better than it actually is!! Any, the adventure starts now! We're off to Fraser ![]() Cheers T RE: Damsel goes Busa Spotting :) - cheeky - 01-03-2009 parkes forbes west wyalong griffith!!!!!!! but i will be around new castle or taree... Will PM you once we get sorted with the peps in Melb and confirm for sure what day we'll be coming through. Look forward to meeting you! RE: Damsel goes Busa Spotting :) - BUSGO - 10-03-2009 Well I have received a message from The Damsel. Her court have begun their quest to the south and arrived late last night in Armidale. The road trip continues and I expect that the search for Mr BUSA has progressed today down the Newell Hwy towards YOUNG or thereabouts. Keep your eyes peeled for a dark blue Honda S2000 with a couple of Thelma & Louise lookalikes rocketing towards and around Victoria over the next few days. You almost got it right.... just look for the trail of dust, the flash of blue is definitely too fast!!!! Funny enough got done by a camera when I was actually behaving on the highway just out of Melb. Sped up to get around a cattle truck (convertible and cattle trucks don't mix - just like bikes and cattle trucks don't!!!). Currently in Melb and it's raining. The return trip starts late tomorrow night. Has been a great trip and we agreed that the drive from Tumet through to a campsite 20km sw of Thredbow was as close to a perfect day as we could get (a busa parked at our campsite would have topped it... but alas...). The weather, drive and stops were awesome. In Melb for the weekend and would love to meet a few more of the club. Mutha, I can't find your ph number!!!! Can you get mine off Volvi and give me a ring??? RE: Damsel goes Busa Spotting :) - Volvi - 14-03-2009 I looked for her number in the numbers thread but she aint there, damn the heavens have opened up and it aint raining fairies. RE: Damsel goes Busa Spotting :) - BUSGO - 14-03-2009 I have passed on Mutha's number to The Damsel. RE: Damsel goes Busa Spotting :) - BUSGO - 18-03-2009 The party moves north.
