RE: New ZX14 out today - Streeter. - 16-10-2011

The price you can get a gen 2 for now days and allowing for parts etc you could go 1441 at a decent price for sure. I think the busa is a proven bike no argument. Had one myself and I know what they are like.

Ross Smith just went 8.80 @ 164 mph at stock wheelbase yesterday on a hot 1441 busa.

I like the interest and challenge in seeing how quick you can get something without getting inside the engine from the factory, much more so than the actual racing side of drag racing. Always have. How quick can you get something with just bolt ons and set up.

As Shayne has said if you couldn't waste a gen 2 with the new 14 both bikes being stock, same rider and on equal terms it would be a joke on Kawasaki's behalf.

Suzuki need to at least match the electronic packages their competition is coming with or they will lose out on sales.

You can get a 2nd hand one from the states & send it over for the re bore & re plate in the states, 2nd hand block range from $50 to $100 delivered

Yep seen it earlier sounds like air or kill shifter also
a nice set of 4-1 will get it cracking nicely,
If Pete gets one he will be the man to beat in Australia me thinks

RE: New ZX14 out today - bigjay - 09-11-2011

it is strapped and lowered and air was at 3200 feet
