GEN II Air Filter - BUSGO - 28-02-2009
I picked up my replacement OEM air filter today.
Part number SUP13780 15H00 $40.00
Bike is due at 18,000 ks but I had to wait for it to arrive at the dealer after the service.
Anyhow, I thought those that haven't seen one yet might like to view what it looks like.
Totally different from the GEN 1 filter which is much larger.

Should have put a DNA or a K&N in then you will never have to replace it again its twice the price but worth it..

I finally got around to swapping the air filters over today.
About 6,000 ks past the schedule.
Anyhow lifting the airbox cover is a bit slower than on the GEN 1 bike due to the number of screws holding it down.
11 in all hold the cover on and only 1 of those actually secures the filter in place within the box.
The one down through the centre.

They supplied a rubber gasket with the new filter but there was none fitted to the OEM airbox and I didn't refit the new one. Maybe I will next time I open it up.

Yes they do..I just put in a race Bmc air filter when i put on my upgraded exhausts..Does make a difference i feel..
