Gold Fairing Inserts - blackbullet - 21-03-2010

Hi All,

Im chasing some gold fairing inserts for my black busa 09.
Have seen some kits around but not in gold.
Just wondered if anybody knew of a source for these.

Hi Richard,
I was going to do this on my K8 but never got around to it. Should look great on your K9

Ebay search turned up the link below.

I used a hot glue gun last time to tab them in place then used a good silicon around the edges
I have hear of people using hot glue only I'm not sure how it would hold up near the exhaust

RE: Gold Fairing Inserts - Heidi1 - 22-03-2010

DON'T USE ONLY HOT GLUE!! And only use it sparingly to tack them on. Make sure you cover the whole thing with the silicon. You'll be right.

+1 & If you cut them yourself use alfoil to make your templates & lay them out in mirrior images so the grills all run the same direction or it looks crap Pi_thumbsup

Sikaflex, THAT'S the stuff. Go on, you've got some good advice there. Give it a red-hot try.
