hi all,last year my vodaphone mobile had no reception at Tathra,I know telsra worked ok so I brought a pre paid telstra next G phone for $70 and only use when out of vodaphone reach.Not sure about optus etc.

Most of the time last year at Tathra I was too pissed to notice....but thinkin' bout it now that ya mention it Dave.....I vaguely remember my phone was a little bit on the quiet side!?! (optus, btw)

Dave ,mine worked fine last year in Tathra & I'm with 3/ vodaphone,so I expect the same this year. Depends a bit on what type of phone,I had a Nokia n95 last year ,But now have an Iphone 4 ,Which I am told has a poor Ariel,so I'll have to wait & see .Could be a bonus if it won't work,No calls from the fun police (Wife ).Perhaps I'd better give her your No , OK .

my wife had optus did not work but i,m with 3 work fine
