New PB. - Blackkat - 11-05-2006

I get more excited about running good times on the stocker than the turbo's lately.

9.83 @ 139.5 (told you its stock hehe)

60' 1.57

only 0.9sec till I get this one banned

Nice work Leonard, you are really 60ing the crap out of that bike, stocko alright look at that mph!

Re: That's the Shit! - BUSGO - 11-05-2006

That is an awesome time for stock.

I don't doubt you Leonard but is it absolutely stock or are you allowed minor changes like air filter and pipes etc?

I have seen early tests reported back in 99 for 9.8 at 140mph.
But never seen it since. (Mind you, I am not a dedicated follower of drags)

Rgds BUSGO

"TAKE MY ADVICE"
I'm not using it anyway!

Leonard's stocker - pan - 11-05-2006

It's stock Ray, apart from lowering straps and dog bones, I think.

You can usually tell when HP has increased because the end speed gets above 140mph...

Onya Leonard!

Is Mrs A going to ever run the 250 down the strip? Mighty big turbo on that truck!!!

Leonard's stocker - 01BUSA - 11-05-2006

Good stuff mate
Was that with or with out the hump

Silent Assasin - Blackkat - 11-05-2006

Here's a picture (I know how you guys like pictures) pick the mods!

I've tried Small air box mod with long stacks, short stacks, pair valve mod but it always runs 137-139mph so on the strip they didn't make any difference, but in saying that I'm still running the stock exhaust so maybe it needs a performance exhaust system to get full benifits (fat chance, sounds purrrrrffect).

-1 on the front sprocket

strapped front

-3" rear

Most important component is clutch setup:

Azzopardi Racing clutch lever mod.

Azzopardi Racing BTL mod + Spring mod

Azzopardi Racing Clutch plates mod.

Oleon full syntheic oil for best clutch results (1.3 60' on quick silver...more to come!)

Full tank of fuel (shell pulp)

50psi front

25psi rear

no hump ???

Thats about it .....opps one more important thing.

You got to want it more than the next guy.

Leonard.

Bring it out on the 24th of May and I'll give you another chance at me...

(...unless you're chicken )

Re: Silent Assasin - kawasuki - 12-05-2006

Just needs a dose of Militec and that should do 1 to 2 tenths better....AHH that could be classed as a mod. Cheers,
Kawasuki

Re: Silent Assasin - BusaDan - 14-05-2006

Hey Leonard well done mate...good to see.

Awesome 60 footer!!!!

What rear tyre are you running?

Re: Silent Assasin - Blackkat - 14-05-2006

I don't remember? but it's almost bald.
Pan might remember the type as he mentioned you can get them anymore?

Will check.

Re: Silent Assasin - BusaDan - 14-05-2006

ok thanks mate. any help would be appreciated. Having trouble with traction now and I'm down to 14psi. I don't think I can go much lower with a street tyre.

What do you think of Shinko's?
