SPORTSBIKE SHOOTOUT (yes they are back) - CAS3234 - 26-05-2006
After our little break, I am happy to announce that the SPORTSBIKE SHOOTOUTS* are back.
We have FULL backing from WSID, and as well, RAPID will be covering every event in their magazine. (so you could get your picture in the mag).
As well as a NATION WIDE Bragging Board of all the Sportsbike entrants in the country. www.rapidbikes.com.au/braggingboard.php (these are ALL street riden bikes).
We will also be starting a points series for Trophy's and prizes.
For those who don't know......
First Wednesday of every month at WSID (Eastern Creek Dragway, Sydney).
Gates open at 5pm, Racing starts at 6pm.
$45 entry fee (this gets 2 in if you work it right, ie 1 rider + car entry too).
You will need to have.......
JACKET: Leathers prefered, but if you are slower than 10.5 cordura is OK.
LONG TROUSERS: Leathers prefered, but if you are slower than 10.5 jeans are OK
HELMET and GLOVES: No options here!!
BOOTS: Have to cover your ankle, faster than 10.5 needs to be 250mm from heel to top.
LICENCE: either a rider licence or an ANDRA Licence and log book.
(Rego papers are no longer required, but if you have em bring em).
The first event for this season will kick off on the 7th of JUNE.
So get your Bike out to WSID for some straight line action.

Dave , does the 10.5 cut off apply for this series? ie do you need an ANDRA figamajig if you go a little quicker than 10.5? <i></i>

Officially you do need one Gazza, but the track staff are quite allright with us on these nights and tend to turn a blind eye to it.
That said, if you were to run under 10 flat, I would expect that you would be asked to get licenced.
