$5 hump mod - Ward P - 21-05-2011 I've seen a few others do this so . . . I modded my hump today so I can store my light spray jacket and pants inside. Bought a small hinge and catch from the local hardware store. Cost about $5. Add 1/2 hour cut out a flap.(hopefully you can cut straighter than I did) bolt it together with some spring washers and loctite, and it's done. before after . . . a bit of spare storage space. RE: $5 hump mod - big kev - 21-05-2011 thats a spesh mod there wardy RE: $5 hump mod - BEAU - 21-05-2011 I don't want to seem negative, good job, but won't your little weight on the pinlock vibe down and then out, undoing while you ride? RE: $5 hump mod - bandit - 21-05-2011 Very nice Ward RE: $5 hump mod - Ward P - 21-05-2011 (21-05-2011, 03:57pm)BJK1 Wrote: I don't want to seem negative, good job, but won't your little weight on the pinlock vibe down and then out, undoing while you ride? It's spring loaded . . . so it seems secure. (for now) But you may be right, time will tell. If it fails I will need to look at some other catch arrangement. RE: $5 hump mod - pan - 21-05-2011 Looks good Wardy. Use a titanium spring. Less weight = more acceleration! :-) RE: $5 hump mod - hendrixhc - 21-05-2011 Top mod there mate! RE: $5 hump mod - RyanG - 21-05-2011 Is that different tO mine ? Mine has a metal frame with a hole in it standard. RE: $5 hump mod - pan - 21-05-2011 Doubt it's standard Ryan.
