Club Fund Raising ideas - ROD - 11-01-2012
Hi we are looking for ideas to raise funds for the club we dont need huge amounts i would like the club funds to sit at about $500 to pay for club costs or anything that might pop up at discretion of the admin team.
We are getting verry low on club cards so will need to order some replacements soon.
We at current have our stickers and for the month of January we will add 3 extra stickers to the $10 packs.

I received a idea last year not sure who it was but A member might have something in there shed not wanted That product could be auctioned and funds to club.I would be happy to put up a alarm system first.
So if you have any ideas please post them up Just remember we dont need a huge amount of $ so keep your ideas small.

Rod,
I'd be happy to buy rafel tickets for usual things:
* Free Ride Day (There local track)
* Helmets
* Tyres
* Etc....
We have a far few suppliers who are members maybe they can supply something to the club at cost price for the rafel.
Run a rafel at $2 per ticket or 5 for $10
. We simply don't draw the rafel until double the money which the goods cost is raised. Its worth a shot!I also recon we need to look at AHC T-Shirts, Jumpers, jackets etc... (There is an online company called Zazzle who do alot of Suzuki shirts, maybe we can speak to them and work out a deal).
I'll donate $50 to the club myself via EFT today!!! Just send me a few BLUE club stickers please...

People have plenty of crap in there sheds. I can't see members/vendors not donating a few items to the club to sell to members, or members sell an odd bit here and there and ask that the money be paid to the club. It's a great idea. There's always parts moving here. That way all money is 'donated'.

Some good ideas there Raffles It would look sus when i won every time
We have Club Shirts jumpers etc have a look in the Club merchandise Section where the stickers are We dont make money on these and thats fine
Donations i would never except i would pay my self before that would happen

Hey rod, you could always allow business to advertise on a side bar like a lot of websites do these days.
Wouldn't need many if you were not looking at keeping a large sum.

Mention Advertising around hear and all Hell breaks loose I dont see a Problem with our local Motorcycle members like Big kev, Ray @ Easyriders , Petes pits stop , just to name a few Advertising and it will be something down the track that will look in to But only Motorcycle related if Any

I agree, benificial to everyone. Everyone has a cry like little school girls over advertising at first, but in the end it only takes up a small amount of real estate on the page (if done right, I.E. put a small banner at the TOP of the page, not the side reducing reading area)
Hey, with a few ads on here it would help improve the overall look of the site and improve the image of the "club" and attract more new members.

Total agree and might have to go down that track sooner than latter if no go ideas are put forward . Would defently be banner up top or down Bottom but will let see how we go for now .
