repairing a broken tab on the fairing - pete - 19-03-2013

not sure if its ever been posted before
if it has apologies in advance
while I was in the process of servicing the bike
this afternoon, and removing the bottom fairing,
one of the tabs broke, this is how I went about repairing it,
using superglue and bi carb of soda.

run a bead of superglue along the break
and sprinkle some bi carb on the glue,
then add more glue on the bicarb and build up
as necessary, this works really well, dries fast,
and can be sanded if required.

hope this helps some1.

btw, bicarb works really well to clean dirty spark
plugs and tarnished alloy with use of an air gun.
